Hi! I'm Katie Visco! Ten years after my 2009 run across America, I ran across Australia. Instead of the ease of using vehicle support, my husband Henley Phillips supported me on bicycle, peddling about 350 pounds of gear, food, and water at a time. Our trek became the first-ever bicycle-supported run across any country! We began on the northern coast in Darwin and traveled south through Alice Springs to Adelaide, through the Outback and namely desert country. I ran because I wanted to see if I still had it, and to exemplify this: curiosity is extremely powerful and can be trusted, and to not, for one second, let fear or excuses undermine your dreams.
