We made it to the 401.5 mile-mark to Top Springs in the Northern Territory! This feels like such a milestone for us! After leaving Katherine, we had eight full days on the road without resupply, except at a cattle station to refill some water on day three, no buildings to take shade under or around.

Today is the last full day before we begin my run across Australia, and I’m ready to go. There are no nerves, no hesitations, only a curiosity to see what it’s going to be like. I’m ready, in every sense of the word.
